There was the four-year-old making her precarious way across a loft bed ladder connecting the two beds, cheered on by her two big siblings, who were waiting for their turn.
They were so proud.
"We turned our beds into a bridge! And look, we put boxes under it in case we fall."
So safe, right?🤦♀️
After a few deep breaths, it took all Mommy's self-control muscles to gently tell them that their creative but super-risky activity would have to come to an end.
