Back in ancient times - AKA pre-Covid - I presented on stage in front of over 100 women at a conference for The JWE (The Jewish Women Entrepreneur.)
Then all kind of things happened, and I haven't shown my face in public like that for 6 years.
Until today, when I led a workshop for the Daily Email House community called:

This is just one of many things I've done this year as a result of joining Daily Email Habit - a program that has helped me push past so many fears and just. Take. Action.
It started with sending daily emails after neglecting my list for a year.
Then reaching out to potential referral partners - something I've always shied away from.
Now it's presenting on camera - live - after hibernating behind my screen for 6 years.
Before the call started? I was shaking in my shoes. But once I was two minutes into the workshop, it really just flowed along. All the fears of sounding stupid, messing up, and generally failing melted away as I spoke.
And that's because the things we think are so scary and frightening are usually not so bad after all.
Those bold marketing ideas that float through the edge of your brain when you're falling asleep, the crazy things your competitor is doing that you can't imagine doing yourself, that retailer you want to pitch but haven't had the courage to approach... what if you just pushed ahead and did it?
I bet it won't be as bad as you think it will.
So consider this your gentle nudge toward the edge of possibility.
Reach out to that potential retail partner who's been living in your "someday" folder.
Send that perfectly imperfect email that feels too human, too vulnerable, too you.
Try something you've never done before but you've been secretly itching to do.
Go ahead. Do it.
BTW - if you want my presentation slides, let me know. I'll send them right over.
Face down those imaginary monsters,
Chavy
