Something I want to know

When he wrote me a recommendation, he was still using an @outlook.com email address.

(We were a good match. My email address was catchthatphrase@gmail.com. 😁)

Today, apparently, his company is major stuff. Working with billion dollar brands, acquiring another company - the works.

It's fascinating how these things go! We've both come a long way in seven years.

Why was Avery on my mind today?

When I started out, I made sure to get a testimonial from every single client, small or big. Then I let it slide, and I'd hardly requested any over the last few years.

And that's a big no-no. I'm the first one to tell any company that testimonials and referrals are the backbone of a business.

So as part of my business revamping efforts that have been underway since November, I need to buckle down on getting testimonials from my clients.
